The winners of the special awards are selected among all teams (both graduate and undergraduate).
Most Creative:
Creative elements in the your work: For example, a clever way of implementing the methods, an interesting (and valid) interpretation of the data. The judges will score according to the degree and/or the prevalence of the creativity.
Best Visualization:
Visual impact of your presentation: The visualization captures the important information about the data and tells a insightful and engaging story.
Best Prediction:
The Best Prediction Award will be evaluated separately. Each team will be asked to submit prediction values corresponding to a future time. The team with the most accurate prediction will receive recognition and $50 cash. Note that the winner of this award will be unveiled after the competition.
Rubric:
The ranks and two special awards (Best Visualization & Most Creative) will be based on the rubric.
