Special Issue

Pre-announcement from Journal of Nonparametric Statistics

In celebration of the establishment of the IMS China, the Journal of Nonparametric Statistics (JNPS) has agreed to devote a special issue to papers inspired from the inaugural IMS-China International Conference on Statistics and Probability (2008).

The special issue will not be a Proceedings volume; rather, it will serve as a venue for conference speakers and participants to publish their papers in a special-themed issue of the journal that is devoted to nonparametric statistics and related topics. All the papers must be prepared in English, and will go through a screening and review process for possible publication.

Professor Tony Cai (University of Pennsylvania) will be the Guest Editor for this special issue. The window of submission is June 11-September 10, 2008 (inclusive of both end dates). Detailed instructions on submission will be announced at a later date, and will be available at the IMS-China conference in Hangzhou. Questions regarding the special issue should be directed to the guest editor only after June 1, 2008.
