Applied Statistical Methods I: Computing and Generalized
Linear Models ---
Fall 2007
This is the first part of a two-year sequence on
applied statistical methods for first-year graduate
students in statistics. Others may enroll only with the permission
of the instructor. In this semester, we have three general
topics: (1) an introduction to statistical computing, particularly
using R; (2) linear regression models; and (3) generalized linear
regression models. This is lots of material for one semester, so we
will move quite quickly.
