Abstract

A typical problem encountered in statistics might involve determining whether or not one treatment is preferable to another.  The goal
of a bioequivalence study is different as we instead hope to draw the conclusion that two treatments are equivalent in some well defined
sense.  In this talk, we will summarize some of the relevant issues and concerns for the applied statistician who is interested in the
techniques and methods found in bioequivalence studies.
