    Statistics 8701
    Computational Statistical Methods

    Spring 2004

In this course we study statistical methods that are computationally intensive, including simulation, Monte Carlo integration, Markov chain Monte Carlo, bootstrapping, cross validation, smoothing, and so on. We will be doing a lot of work in R, and some with C or FORTRAN.

Many course materials are available in the "Portable Document Format" (PDF), which can be viewed and printed by using Acrobat Reader software. Versions of Acrobat Reader for most computing platforms may obtained for free from Adobe Inc.
