Applied Linear Regression

A 3.5 inch diskette. A calculator. A 'statistical' pocket calculator able to do univariate statistics and regressions is advisable.

Most of the main text plus some supplementary handouts.

Spare copies of all handouts can be found in the TA office hour room.

In your weekly lab session, you will use the Arc program package. Use of this computer lab (and some others) during and outside scheduled lab hours is free. There is a charge for printing in the lab; if you want to print anything in the lab, you must purchase a printing card. Do not count on being able to finish each week's lab in the allotted hour! Many assignments require a return trip to the lab.

There will be two in-term tests, weekly homeworks and a final exam. All tests are open book/open notes; bring calculator and homeworks

The final grade will be a composite of:
Homeworks 40% of the total weight
Midterms 30% of the total weight
Final 30% of the total weight
