Programming Supplements

An HTML version of the CRAN introduction to R is available; this is the standard introductory document for R. However, you may find this introduction to R and Rweb more useful at first.

Peter Dalgaard has a book that uses R for introductory statistics. It is not required for this course, but you may want to know that it's out there.

R Handouts

1. Getting Started with R introduces the R commands that you will need for the first homework assignment.

In case you are interested, documentation for the base package, stats package, and graphics package is available online. These are the three most commonly used R packages.
