eigenvals(x [,maxit:N, nonconvok:T]), x a REAL symmetric matrix with no
  MISSING values, integer N > 0

eigenvals(x) computes a REAL vector containing the eigenvalues of REAL
symmetric matrix x in decreasing order.  These are identical to
eigen(x)$values.  If you need eigenvectors, use eigen().
