MacAnova Documentation

MacAnova documentation is available in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format and as HTML files you can read in your browser. You can obtain Acrobat Reader for Macintosh, Windows, and many Unix varieties at no cost from an Adobe, Inc. download page. Some web browsers can configure and use Acrobat Reader as a helper (or plugin). If you do not wish to do that, download the PDF files and use Acrobat Reader as a standalone application.

There are two kinds of documentation for MacAnova. The first is help on hundreds of topics about MacAnova. This documentation comes packaged three different ways and is kept up to date.

The help files are very detailed and extensive, but they're not a very good way to learn MacAnova. For that, we have a gentle introduction and a more complete user's guide. Neither of these is up to date, but except for the Appendices, the information is still valid.

The MacAnova version 5 installers for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux include all of this documentation. For Windows and Linux, the documentation is in the SharedSupport/docs subdirectory of whereever you installed MacAnova. For Mac OS X, the documentation is in the docs folder on the installer disk image.
