Notes
Although a lot of material has been officially covered and thus is possible material for exam questions, a lot of it needs a computer and thus is out of bounds for a pencil and paper exam.
In particular
- None of Chapter 11 (simulation and bootstrap) will be on the exam.
- Only the parts of Chapter 10 (regression and ANOVA) that can be done by hand will be on the exam. For those questions, I'll give you some R regression printout and you have to finish the problem.
- Only the parts of Chapter 9 (categorical and nonparametrics) that can be done by hand will be on the exam. Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Wilcoxon signed rank tests require too much computation.
