Statistical Consulting for Students

Eligible graduate and undergraduate students at the University of Minnesota can get help with all statistical aspects of research, from study design to analysis and interpretation of results. Students may get help either from the Statistical Clinic staffed by statistics graduate students, or from faculty consultants. There is no charge for this service.

How to get help

Most graduate student researchers should first seek help from the Statistical Clinic. Your consultation will be with a statistics graduate student and will be reviewed by a faculty member. If necessary, you will be referred to a faculty consultant. Consulting with a faculty member may also be available; contact the Director, Sanford Weisberg, sandy@stat.umn.edu, for information.
