Abstract
Carapace
is a graphical user interface environment suitable
for use with statistical software such as MacAnova or R. It uses the
wxWidgets library to provide input/output windows, graphics windows,
user-specified menus and modal dialog boxes, and dynamic interactive
graphics with native look and feel on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux-GTK.
MacAnova versions 5.00 and later use Carapace. In this talk, I will
describe what Carapace can do for you and how to use Carapace. I will
also compare and contrast Carapace with some other Gui projects for R
that were developed over the same time period as Carapace.
